I’m Elsa, known online as Bunnytokyo. After a decade in this city, I’ve moved past the tourist maps and into Tokyo’s hidden rhythms. I’ve spent ten years documenting its seasonal magic, its subcultures, and the neon-soaked world it reveals after midnight.
With a combined community of 300,000+ across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads, I share an authentic look at Japanese life, travel, and food. When I’m not behind a lens, I’m building worlds in fiction. My latest work is an adult neo-noir paranormal romance set in the heart of the city I’ve chosen as my home after living in four other countries!
My life is a constant cycle of creativity shared with my partner, two dogs, and a rabbit. From photography and videography to writing and illustration, my mind is always creating something new.
