For our second night in Kawaguchiko we stayed in “Mt. Fuji Village Stay” AirBNB, a private accommodation managed by Shota A.K.A Shots. This is one of the very few dog-friendly places in Kawaguchiko, so our pup Drogo was welcome to stay with us.
This is an old, traditional Japanese house. That means tatami, sliding doors, japanese style bathtub and futons. The property itself is big enough to host many guests with four bedrooms, another two common areas plus the spacious kitchen. This makes it perfect for groups of people that want to stay together but also have their private space.
We spent a nice night at Shota’s AirBNB, however we felt like it needed a better maintenance on the cleanliness and overall presentation and amenities of the accommodation. It would be a great experience for travelers on a budget that don’t expect luxuries and want a taste of a traditional Japanese way of living.
As always, thank you so much for reading and hope you enjoy my pictures!
