NieR: Automata Collaboration At Square Enix Cafe Akihabara

NieR: Automata was one of the most anticipated new titles for Playstation this year; especially in Japan it was a huge deal!

So it was no surprise that Square Enix Cafe Akihabara hosted a collaboration event for the month of March to celebrate the launch of the latest addition to the NieR saga.

As usual, a new drink and food menu inspired by the NieR: Automata universe was created. We tried the three desserts available, ranging from 700¥ to 1100¥. All were pretty good but my favorite was the Emil pancake.

The merch shop had new NieR products available and you could even play the game in the cafe, right next to a 2B doll and the autograph of some members of the team behind the game (like the director and producer!). You can see those in the pictures.

Overall a great experience! Too bad it only lasted about three weeks.

Are you a NieR: Automata fan? ?
